Dr. Smith is certified in upper cervical care through a technique call Orthospinology. Currently our office is the only office in Knoxville certified in upper cervical care. Upper cervical refers to the area at the top of the neck. Neurologically it is a VERY important area! It has a major influence on whether energy travels from the brain down to the body life a fire hose or a garden hose. Problems with the upper neck affect the entire body. This care is very specific and very gentle. It doesn’t require any twisting or “popping” of the neck. When we’ve made a correction you can truly say your head’s on straight!
